You should try the tilt shift effect on this picture and see how it turns out. I think you have the correct vantage point. Good picture!

You'd need a software like Photoshop or Lightroom to do it. I don't know the exact steps (never took a picture good enough for it) but there are tutorials online and if you google "tilt shift" for images you'll see some examples.
